1.Senior System Developer / Architect

Senior System Developer/ Architect will define the architecture of the Electronic Medical Record to be customized in order to fulfill requirement study and specifications developed; work on requirement and specification development; lead the customization and development activities, determine and identify high-level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community and knowledge of enterprise architecture; design architectures, including the software, hardware, and communications, to support the total requirements, as well as to provide for present and future cross-functional requirements, and interfaces.

Additionally, the system developer/architect will interact with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction; provide quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products; develop high-level system design diagrams for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation; and Develop and implement moderate to complex web applications on one or more platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Realize target architecture advancing requirement analysis and technology strategies.
  • Handle high-level system architectures and interfaces for the project.
  • Analyze the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and suggest enhancement solutions.
  • Analyze industry and market trends to identify the impact on the study going to be performed and product to be customized.
  • Lead architecture vision, design, and documentation.
  • Represent the technical team to program managers and executive leadership.
  • Communicate technical needs, opportunities, and constraints to program managers and executive leadership.
  • Function as subject matter expert and system architecture authority for systems integration.
  • Lead on requirement analysis, scope preparation, system customization, architecture, and integration.
  • Approve high-risk designs before execution and define solutions, strategy, and enterprise architecture services.
  • Lead, govern, and collaborate across team development functions.
  • Offer design leadership, input, and manage system tradeoffs.
  • Design and document key system components, interfaces, infrastructure, and communications.
  • Perform coding assignments.
  • Review code work for accuracy and functionality.
  • Create and implementing design plans.
  • Analyze code segments regularly.

 Requirements:

 Extensive knowledge of software development and its technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of .Net frame work, Angular js, Python, SQL database, Postgress database and Tomcat.
  • Jenkins and octopus knowledge is plus.

This position will be based out of the head office in Addis Ababa, with travel to client locations within the city and around the county.

Responsibilities and duties:

Identifying potential clients (prospecting), and building a pipeline of qualified leads to meet business plans, quotas, and company objectives. The ambitious, self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and friendly with high energy, a willingness to learn and be creative.

  • Research and target prospects using a variety of sales tools.
